Target Variable Performance Pay: 10%

The salary range shown above reflects the expected  compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements. For positions covered by a collective agreement, placement within the range will follow the applicable step or classification.

 

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounting & External reporting, the Lead, Corporate Performance & Reporting serves as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team, providing strategic leadership for enterprise performance management, executive reporting, and finance-led business transformation.

 

This role is responsible for translating corporate strategy into measurable outcomes through the development of performance frameworks, executive and Board reporting, strategic analysis, and organizational performance insights. The incumbent drives a culture of accountability, supports enterprise decision-making, and enables sustainable business performance through data-driven reporting and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization's enterprise performance management framework, including KPIs, scorecards, targets, and measurement processes.
  • Partner with executive leaders to align performance measures, financial targets, and strategic priorities, ensuring consistent monitoring and reporting of organizational results.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations to support enterprise planning, decision-making, and execution.
  • Lead the preparation of executive, Audit Committee, and Board reporting, delivering clear, concise, and impactful performance narratives, forecasts, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor organizational and business unit performance, identify emerging trends and gaps, and recommend actions to enhance business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects that advance strategic objectives, strengthen governance, and improve organizational performance.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, dashboards, and performance management practices through the effective use of data, technology, and emerging tools.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA, CPA, or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in corporate performance management, financial planning and analysis, corporate reporting, strategy, or executive advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior executives to influence decisions, drive strategic priorities, and deliver enterprise outcomes.
  • Expertise in performance measurement frameworks, KPI development, executive reporting, and business performance analysis.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, including experience supporting executive and Board-level audiences.
  • Experience leveraging data, reporting tools, dashboards, and emerging technologies to improve performance, decision-making, and organizational effectiveness.

This position is based in a hybrid environment allowing for remote work two days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite Tuesday to Thursday. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
