The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements. The Contract, Finance Administrator (12-Months) provides high-quality, timely administrative and operational support to leaders within the Tax, Treasury, and Payroll & Disbursements functions. This role is critical to ensuring the effective execution of Finance processes, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and driving efficiency across administrative and operational activities.
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison across Finance and other business units, supporting leadership priorities while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance processes and improve service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides comprehensive administrative support to Finance leaders, including calendar management meeting coordination, and preparation of presentations and materials. Engages process stakeholders to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are completed in a timely manner with the required level of quality.
- Serves as the Finance representative and initial point of contact for internal/external enquiries and requests, responding to requests on behalf of Finance leadership.
- Prepares and maintains meeting agendas, action logs, and documentation to support management systems and decision-making processes. Delivers presentations and communicates administrative processes and updates to Finance teams and stakeholders as required.
- Maintains accurate records through filing, scanning, and document management activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Identifies and implements process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance function.
- Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a medium to large organization with established processes.
- Experience working with large ERP financial systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of workflows, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools (e.g., document management and collaboration platforms).
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position is based in a hybrid environment allowing for remote work two days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite Tuesday to Thursday. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
