The salary range shown above reflects the expected  compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements. For positions covered by a collective agreement, placement within the range will follow the applicable step or classification.

 

Reporting to the Manager, Culture and Change, The Change Leadership Consultant partners with business units to design and guide change strategies, leader enablement activities, and engagement approaches that support successful adoption of key corporate initiatives. The role provides subject matter expertise in enterprise‑level change management, culture, and organizational development, including planning and executing programs that strengthen leadership capability and align behaviours to the desired culture. The Consultant conducts assessments, facilitates sessions, and develops tools to enable effective change adoption. The role also supports tracking and reporting on change readiness, stakeholder engagement, adoption progress, and benefits realization across strategic initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently consult with business units to design and execute change strategies and programs supporting culture change, organizational performance, process improvement, innovation, productivity, engagement, and benefits tracking.
  • Conduct change needs analysis, impact assessments, and stakeholder analysis to inform tailored change strategies.
  • Develop enterprise‑level change strategies aligned with business outcomes and apply established change methodologies (e.g., Kotter) to complex initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to define cultural expectations, clarify desired behaviours, and equip them to champion and sustain change.
  • Support leaders in embedding cultural shifts into routines, leadership practices, and ways of working.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of organizational change and culture programs, including engagement planning, communication planning, and benefits‑driven project management.
  • Develop and implement integrated change management plans, culture and engagement strategies, communication plans (in collaboration with Communications), and capability‑building tools to support readiness and adoption.
  • Facilitate workshops to clarify requirements, build change capability, and reinforce cultural behaviours required for long‑term success.
  • Transfer knowledge to client groups to support sustainment of change and desired cultural outcomes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for corporate or divisional change and culture initiatives.
  • Evaluate change and culture programs by assessing readiness, adoption, behaviour shifts, cultural alignment, and achievement of expected outcomes.
  • Monitor KPIs, risks, benefits realization, and barriers to change and cultural adoption.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance outcomes and strengthen cultural alignment.
  • Develop measurement processes for change and culture initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate performance expectations.
  • Provide leadership with regular progress reports outlining milestones, adoption levels, cultural reinforcement, and sustainability plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders, employees, and project teams to support change and culture initiatives.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring alignment between business needs and project objectives.
  • Coach leaders to effectively lead through change, model expected cultural behaviours, build readiness, and drive accountability.
  • Facilitate workshops, leader sessions, and engagement activities that strengthen organizational change capability and reinforce cultural expectations.
  • Share insights and best practices to support continuous improvement and organizational culture evolution.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s/Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in organization development, enterprise-level change management, and large-scale transformation initiatives.  
  • Experience with executive‑level reporting and benefits/impact measurement is considered an asset.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional/Leader (CHRP/ CHRL), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Lean certifications are assets
  • Knowledge of Organization Development (OD) and enterprise‑level change management practices, including change impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, behaviour change, cultural transformation, and adoption strategies.
  • Experience designing and executing large‑scale change, culture, and engagement interventions, using established change methodologies (e.g., Kotter) to support complex organizational initiatives.
  • Strong leader enablement and coaching skills, with the ability to guide leaders on behaviour expectations, driving accountability, and sustaining change within their teams.
  • Consistently models a customer‑focused and partnership‑oriented approach in all decisions and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced experience with employee experience, talent development, performance management, and organizational culture practices, with the ability to integrate them into change initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and evaluative skills, with experience measuring adoption, benefits, readiness, and KPI outcomes across change programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint, including the ability to build automated reports, track performance indicators, and support insights‑driven decision‑making.
  • Demonstrates superior project management practices, with the ability to lead multiple concurrent change initiatives and deliver high‑quality outputs on time.
  • Strong relationship‑building and consulting skills, enabling effective collaboration with leaders, project teams, and cross‑functional partners to influence outcomes and drive adoption.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies within Culture, Change and Learning team, and across the broader HR function.

This position is based in a hybrid environment allowing for remote work two days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite Tuesday to Thursday. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
